For my Evaluation Arts Apprenticeship i had to teach a ‘joke rap’ to the group which was completely spontaneous for a limited time, also planning it was important to show how we thought of it and how it would interest the group. Afterwards the group write down feedback on a white board. The feedback was good, most of the group enjoyed it. ‘ The joke rap was really fun and jokes! ..’

For my arts apprenticeship I am going to teach a group how to rap. The time length of my session will be from 5 minutes and throughout each minute i will show the group which will be from 2 people, a video of me on facebook doing a joke rap and occupying some made up lyrics for examples. Also i will teach them how to start a rap and how to finish a rap. Using the footage from facebook will help the group to have a feel of what i meant by joke rap. It could be a choice, Improvisation or planned.
My aim is to at least achieve one joke rap which will be either filmed or not filmed from choice and to at least confirm that you know how to make a joke rap.
First ill pick two people and will introduce the session to them and what there about to do. I will first explain what i am doing and what it is, Also giving encouragement and guidance in persuading how easy it is if someone has no confidence. After viewinf the facebook video and pause throughout the video to show clearly what i say and how i say it.
My safety precautions are keeping the table clear from any shape things to lay the laptop down. Some paper and pen for anyone who needs to use it to help them make a joke rap or help them brainstorm.

I’ve recently joined in a project to do with film making and also taking part in a 5 minute film. We had to write a script, learn c amera shots, improvisation in acting activities and when making the film i took turns being a director, cameraman or actress, also others.
I came in the second session because i got informed about the project after the first session by a friend. It sound interesting so i thought I’m going to see what it’s like. During the day everyone from the project decided to make a script, pitch ideas and decide what to finally put in the script. It was a total new experience, i didnt expect much on making the script and i thought it was really slow and difficult, but you get the hang of it and look forward to reading it feeling like you’ve done something.
